'FACE-BOOK' - EPIDEMIC

A famous story, I read long back , have been haunting me for past several years !
The story is from CHANDYOGYA UPANISHAT, a part of the Oldest scripture of Bharat( I don't like the word 'India,', a Greek-invader-slang) that is also known as Vedanta and proved to be 5 to 7 thousand years B.C.
Any way, the story is as follows(Compressed):
Human beings qualified AS 'Devas' & 'Asuras '[as per nature] wanted to know and learn about 'Self ' or Soul and Indra from godly Sect and Virochan from Asura-Sect(demonic) went to PRAJAPOTI (the Creative -executive) and had to wait 32 yrs ;(don't know if it was Global or Cosmic time nor Einstein was born to explain, then).
Finally they got the chance to ask Prajapoti:--' Lord , what is it that we see reflected in water( no Camera or video then !).
Projapoti : ' You see your- self only . ..........................
Now you dress up with your best clothes , look in the water.................. .
They obeyed and reported reported ,happily and over-joyed -
:' Lord, we saw our 'selves' in our best form.'
And the lord said : Yes , -you have both seen 'Your --SELVES ........................................! '
Viirochan , leader of ' Asur-Sect' went 'home happy and cultivated the means of dressing up well and find happiness and joy for their 'Selves'.
But Indra , being the leader of Intelligence, was not happy with this lesson and started more rational thinking and Introspection and argue-ed with Prajapoti, who was very happy with Indra's challenging questions and taught Indra the real meaning of SELF(SOUL ) through another 96 years.
finally Indra learnt that the Self is not not body but is only tied to it ,- like an OX tied to the Bullock-Cart.

Now in these ELECTRONIC and Computer / FACE BOOK - Age , the above story from UPANISHADS and some Experience, personal and Information -Sources tell me & teach me so many educative lessons about 'Facebook-faces' that ,-- I can write so many stories on it !................................................................. And well ,-- I may , really . write some ,some days, if I live that long ( I am 80 + now).

Addendum: IN this 21st Century or Mid -Kali-Yug of Present Cosmic Cycle [with Human-Evolution and decay of Moral values] Face-book , in some sense, is another channel of joy and happiness where ' Photo-media' in myriad forms ,shapes and poise are keeping the Majority-population busy for more than enough of their life's valuable time.
Maybe, they are really happy or maybe, it is an 'Escapist ' way facing or enduring 'Modern life .
The other day ,it was printed in T.O.I, Kolkata , that the nephew of a state - CM of India boasted , openly, on the 'Facebook' -- as a young 'CASANOVA'.
There are 'counter- points ' or better side of the same COIN, that now, the realities of the World is more EXPOSED and it is now easier means to identify the 'Dakrker shades' earlier.
